WE FOCUS ON BECOMING LOCAL

Become Local develops interpersonal relationships between relocating non-natives and locals. Local businesses support our non-natives by providing representatives for their new environment and supporting non-natives in feeling more local. Our community lessens the effects of non-natives feeling alone in a new city, and creates long-lasting connections, all while stimulating local businesses and the economy.

Become Local's mission is to speed up the culture shock experience of someone who moves to a new place (non-natives). They will, in turn, have more time to feel comfortable and engage with their new community, feeling like a local. The more at home they feel in their new city, the better their job performance will be, their personal life will be, and their liking of their new home will be.
